Founded in 1906, American Business Media is the association of business information providers delivering business intelligence to industry, Madison Avenue, Wall Street and the Beltway. Its 300-plus member companies reach an audience of more than 100 million professionals and represent nearly 5,000 print and online titles and 1,000 trade shows and well over $20 billion in annual revenues.
ABM’s Custom Media Committee is comprised of those members who create, produce and disseminate their own custom media programs, and agencies and consultants who create custom programs for clients.

Mission Statement
- » To promote the value of custom media to business and professional markets globally through education and awareness
- » To set standards and develop business models for business-to-business custom media operations
- » To conduct research relevant to (a) measuring customer value generated by the use of custom media and (b) determining best practices, organizational structure and operating norms
- » To support sales, marketing and research efforts to bring new or enhanced revenue streams to custom media
- » To create a forum for ABM members to share information, experiences and best practices
